@sullybiker I think part of the dreaming experience is that some control functions, reality checks, are shut off, just like during certain drug experiences. For example, I've heard that the oneness with the universe that psychedelics, or certain forms of meditation for that matter, can offer people, is due to the sense-of-self circuitry being inhibited.

@clacke Yes, I think the second you can step outside of yourself it stops. You don't consider simple corporeal questions.
