I feel like Merriam-Webster is trolling me.

"It has come to our attention lately that there is a small and polite group of people who are not overly fond of the word irregardless. This group, who we might refer to as the disirregardlessers (..)"

I was excited for the urban dystopia of Westworld S3 but the SDCC trailer seems a lot busier and hectic. Aesthetically the show is still great but S2 also looked fantastic while managing to be plot soup.

This is why I prefer books.

A little taste of what they've been getting further West

A steaming hot weekend has been followed by absolutely crazy rainfall here in Pittsburgh. Soaking wet in Oakland just running from my Uber. ☁️🌀

Props to keybase for attempting to capitalize on Slack's pain.

Someone linked me to the reimagined Vader/Kenobi duel that's doing the rounds on YouTube. Not bad at all. Some of it is a little on the nose, but it's pretty enjoyable.

So everyone we need to figure out how to replay @architect for working around the clock rebuilding the DB by hand. Thoughts?

I like this quote. It is aptly found at the beginning of 'The Corner' by David Simon and Ed Burns.

I ploughed through most of David Simon and Ed Burn's 1997 book 'The Corner' last week. A good companion to '88s 'Homicide', but a very different approach.

Both of these stories came together in 'The Wire' and it's interesting to read about both in such detail.
