@dlmarsh if you can work around the use cases, linux desktop is very good indeed, it outperforms Windows in most things. But the real question is what you're using it for.

There's plenty of things to bag on Desktop Linux for, but 20yrs behind Windows? Oh mate. Windows is 20yrs behind Windows.
