Right. So.

In response to me observing how gatekeeping the Fed is counterproductive and the preemptive shitty behaviour is unnecessary, I've gotten the following:

1. Someone suggesting that I'm being "strangely naive" because I can't see the influx of new users is actually full of people "coming to crush us."
2. How my being a denizen of queer.party should prompt me to be more sympathetic if not empathetic to gatekeepers (LOL)
3. Something about boomers, cucks, and journalists.

@sullybiker It's quite a thing to witness but ultimately, paranoia is paranoia. While not completely unfounded, I need these people to really challenge that paranoia as I fear they might be having nothing more than a traumatic response.

@theauracle I think that's it, I also think it's boredom. People haven't figured out their most precious thing is time, and so spending it joining or spinning up instances just get angry at people they don't know about things they don't care about.
