Because everything just works on Apple the update to Ventura broke Spotlight. I'm increasingly of the opinion Apple do barely any QA of their releases, because you'd find this in about 10s.
@alexmidd It's otherwise fine. I haven't found anything horrendous, but I use Spotlight all the time and having to figure it out was pretty annoying. Safari regressions I'm sure they'll get to.
@sullybiker Ah, thanks for that. I had been thinking of updating earlier so I might still do that. Safari is important to me as I use it a lot, although at least there are alternatives that can be used in the interim.
@sullybiker That's not good news. I'm holding off updating until the new year as I usually do but wonder if it's something that will be fixed by then, if at all.
