How am I doing figuring docker out?

Meh so so.

I’ve definitely learned a little bit.

But a very little bit.

@sullybiker especially when you try to learn like I do by fiddling around and just reading little snippets on different blogs and the official documentation instead of just sitting down and learning it in a more proper manner.

@Finner It's difficult though because you have to learn this abstracted way of interacting with the containers. And you'll never remember it unless you do it regularly.

@sullybiker that’s pretty much why I’ve been avoiding learning docker at all. There are so many things already that I do so infrequently that I can never remember how to do when I need to. And if I didn’t make notes, I have to relearn all over again. Now I’m like, do I just docker everything so I can stay on top of it. Or avoid it like the plague. Because it seems like everyone is going to docker route lately.

@sullybiker I know about five times more about docker now than I did when I woke up this morning.

But five times zero is…

@Finner My instance runs on it. It was easy to setup. A lot of maintenance gotchas though.

@Finner although I can see the appeal for a developer. And management at really large scale.
