Something I've learned doing more and more hardware crud: label everything
Power adapters... all look the same. Labeled with what they go to.
Laptops... mostly look the same. Labeled with what's on it and who actually owns it.
Does something just not work? Labeled. "No driver" "No charger" "No GPSDO" or whatever the main problem is.
Saves so much time, heartache, and duplicated effort.

@h_thoreson oh my God yes. When we've offered old laptops for projects after sanitizing I hate this huge pile of adapters and playing match-the-barrel-jack.
