@checkervest @MmeLibertine I realized quite an insidious thing in management (which I now am) whereby being pushed into unfavorable positions gets dressed up as compromise and 'business realities'. It's very strange.

@checkervest @MmeLibertine Here's another lesson: If you don't play the game, you're 'difficult'. I know it is even worse for women because the expectation of passivity is higher.
