I hate how the brain works. I haven't thought about the annoying song from Ocarina of Time since I played it over Christmas break in approximately 2010. Now it's stuck in my head even though I haven't heard it at all since then, purely because I bought a Switch and played as Link and Zelda in Smash Bros. Any song would be better! @h_thoreson Does remembering unlock a lot of memories from that period? I find that when a memory gets triggered it's like it reindexes for want of a better description, and all these details come back.
@h_thoreson Music in particular can really put me in a place. Quite often my Dad's car driving somewhere when I was little.
