At this point the autopilot code is stable enough that I can FINALLY finish this write-up and then maybe have the open source/enthusiast community go "this is dope I came up with a better one, here's a PR".

The graphs show a random airplane flying level and (roughly) hold its vertical speed at 0.

You have no idea how weirdly hard it is to keep a plane at roughly the same altitude if you're not giving it a specific altitude to hold.

Or maybe you do. In which case, we both know this pain.

@sullybiker To be fair that's part of writing a decent autopilot: its job is to constantly update the trim without making the passengers sick =D (thank god this JS isn't flying a real plane. People would probably live, but they might not like the flight depending on which plane we're flying =D)
