This week I learned that caffeine is a trigger for acid reflux. And drinking a cup of coffee is a trigger for about 30 minutes of annoying congestion. But a cup of half-caff does not seem to trigger it at all.

So I guess I am now a half-caff or decaf coffee drinker.

Sorry highly caffeinated friends. Another one bites the dust.

@finner I used to suffer really badly from reflux. Cutting coffee is definitely helpful in mitigating it. I still cannot drink wine or eat pizza after 5pm.

@sullybiker yeah the older I get the more I'm picking up on things I need to adjust for. I don't drink much alcohol at all anymore, so that definitely helps.

Idk though. I'll be crying if I gotta give up pizza. 😭
