Former SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford has split from his wife and started a new relationship. He is said to be now hunting for a new property to allow him to spend more time with his new love.
Mr Blackford has regularly spoken of his Christian faith and his family life. He moved to the Isle of Skye with his wife 25 years ago and has said in interviews that they became regular churchgoers. In 2018, he was mocked after saying in the Commons that 'I am just a simple crofter with ten acres'.
