I have a feeling Crowdstrike either does not do any automated testing of deployments via VMs/Real Hardware, or if they do it has probably been disabled for months and the fix is on an agile backlog.

@XerShadowTail I think they had a two hour window for this one; they have had problems before - a Linux kernel bug was nasty but did not seem quite so widespread as it was largely confined to Redhat 9.5.
