The for-profit hospital industry in America is a leech. They save your life, yes, but at what cost? Becoming a debt slave?

The owners of all those hospitals should be spending their entire lives in jails for the damage to the entire nation they've done.

And don't get me started with the banks. :blobangery:

@rick_777 The worst thing is it employs the worst practices of monopolies and corporatism. They've written the rulebook, which is never good.

The biggest insult is most of the big providers have non-profit status. It's a joke.

Much the same way tax advisory companies lobby to keep the codes as arcane as possible, to justify their existence.
