Something I dislike about MacOS and ubuntu's practice of using Sudo is sudo becoming synonymous with root.

E.g "I need sudo access" really gets the pedant in me going.

@sullybiker I'm old school I still prefer the original (Secure) idea of Root and normal User. Sudo was invented for lazy people and those who kept forgetting the Root password.

@dick_turpin It's created an antire blogging culture wherein people do insane things like prefixing every command with sudo. I see it constantly at work and it drives me crazy.

@sullybiker Be fair, that's because thick people like me copy-n-paste the commands and when the terminal says "You need to be Root to do that dipstick!" I'm lost because the author won't tell me what that means. 😱
