@sullybiker Watched this project in its infancy. I wasn't sure if they were going to reach the state where it boots on bare metal, but I was hopeful. The microkernel is an important distinction as it reduces the burden of the devs implementing every aspect of the OS like a monolitic kernel design would (think Linux) and keeps the scope narrow, minimising feature creep. Redox may very well be one of the most important project of the decade as far as secure host environments go, that don't go into hypervisors and containerisation.
