@Whitewall_Blasphemy @sullybiker weimar had a massive propaganda apparatus. without really worrying about if the change was good or bad, all the propaganda didn't stop national socialism. i guess there's a lesson in that too.

@Moon @Whitewall_Blasphemy@poa.st Its an interesting study, for sure. The Germans resented an intellectual class that they considered out of touch and high-minded (and had also caused great suffering), easily making way for the 'stab-in-the-back' narrative.
