@dick_turpin It's gone up here, but not like Europe.
@sullybiker Fortunately, it's fairly mild here, so apart from a couple of days where it was just needed to take the chill off for, say, 30 minutes, we haven't had to have the heating on.
@dick_turpin It'll get really cold here in December and January. Routinely below zero.
@dick_turpin I've done -25 and that was surprisingly tolerable. Just don't breath through your mouth unless you like mild hypothermia, which is *terrifying* by the way.
@dick_turpin We had a polar vortex week of routinely -15-20 days. The walk to work was pretty unpleasant whenever the wind blew. It was like wearing no trousers.
@sullybiker I was listening to the radio the other day, and the coldest place on earth is minus 50 degrees. That's a tad chilly. 🥶
