@cirriustech I cannot like this post enough. Nothing Else Matters is one of my favourite songs when played acoustically. It's so beautiful and absolutely melts me. I've been trying to learn it on the guitar.

@lottiekins @cirriustech It's aged really well. Not so loved at the beginning, it was such a gigantic departure for the band.
@lottiekins @cirriustech It was the most radio friendly track on an album already considered very radio friendly (listen to how they sounded just 3yrs earlier....) and it took a while for people to come round. It was the same year pretty much everything changed with Nirvana though so most bands had to adapt.

@sullybiker @cirriustech oh wow, I didn't know that!! I guess it was a risky move at the time. It seems to be making an appearance in a few things recently, such as the opening credits to Jungle Cruise and of course Wednesday. It really is beautiful.
