The Hive social story never added up to me. A developer that decided they thought they could do better than legacy social media, so taught themselves coding in June 2019, releasing an application in...October, just 4 months later. There was apparently and unnamed developer involved too. Now..

Yeah...this sounds like bullshit.
@ccradle I hate to take anything away from someone that might have pulled it off but it feels like a story concocted by a PR company.

Yes it does.
I work with some very, very smart young people and this timeline seemed a little fanciful to me, which caused some cynicism in the rest of the story.
