@dick_turpin My old man has lived there for 20 years. He's retired. Spain is a great place. The Spanish have life worked out pretty well.
@sullybiker I bet the locals won't be happy. "Bloody foreigners, coming over here, taking all our jobs." 🤣
@dick_turpin There's some of that, but generally it's been going on so long they're cool with it. If you make an effort with them they really open up.
@sullybiker TBH, Where the wife works, there are a fair few Europeans. Sure, it's a little bit more of a PITA, but it would seem Brexit hasn't caused the massive work problems people moaned about. It was obvious countries were going to find ways to return to the status quo.
@dick_turpin Unfortunately British expats tend to do themselves no favours. I don't know if other European migrants are the same...
