Fedi, what are your thoughts on Trump?
Final results. There are a lot of disappointed former Trump supporters on Fedi, and a lot of people just tired of Trump in general.
Interesting how few people felt ambivalent about him though. Lends credence to the argument that the 2020 turnout was so high in part because so many people felt so strongly about Trump.
@dave He's fading very fast now, especially with DeSantis just being there.
@sullybiker Yeah it was a really dumb move to go criticizing DeSantis right after the midterms where so many of the candidates you endorsed ended up losing what would have been winnable fights if they weren’t an election-denying nutcase. Between economic weakness, inflation, frustration with COVID lockdowns and their fallout, etc, Republicans were in a great position to take both houses, and Trump is a big part of the reason that they didn’t.
