Re. Elon's behaviour. There;'s definitely something odd about how Twitter affects certain people. I've seen friends be driven mad by it, as in become different people. Sam Harris for his failings saw it happening to himself and bailed. It's very strange.
@sullybiker I definitely agree that that site is bad for me, having gone on private now (and knowing that only my followers can read my tweets) I’m much less nasty and more inclined to just scroll past other ppl’s unhinged tweets.
But Musk seems like a textbook narcissist.
@estherlimtf In charge of something as big as that, there's bound to be some weird things going on in his head, but this week he seems to either be receptive to terrible advice or is just digging an ever deeper hole.

@SeventhMagpie @estherlimtf Specifically Masto URLs and usernames. And linktree, which is just odd. Sucha policy validates these platforms as credible alternatives.
@SeventhMagpie @sullybiker it was annoying because they announced this new policy, I then deleted all the links I could find (Twitter search was broken so I just scrolled through my timeline) and then they backtracked.
He seems to have no impulse control.

Although I have to admit, that almost all people I know have moved their social media activity to Telegram after Twitter block.
