I don't know why people are so shocked by the FJCVTZS instruction to speed up JavaScript

Shouldn't we want our hardware to optimize the most common but slow software operations that we can't avoid?

If this was something that sped up Go or Rust you'd be creaming your panties so bad you'd have to change your programmer socks
