The tardy lapwings seem to have gone, possibly the curlew too. We’re back to grouse chattering and scolding away in the mist.
@Flick Really showing Autumn up here last few weeks, fungi out too, little puffballs all down the path to the shed and at side of house.
@HebrideanHecate I wouldn’t go that far, but if it had been a bit less muggy then it would have felt it this morning.

@Flick It’s dank here, to pish to tries to clear. We don’t often get the crisp nowadays, alas.
