Up betimes and nervous today...marching in demand a more technical role while I'm in the main office for a meeting for a tech group I got elected to.
I'm in a role now that's a little bit like making the sushi rice, and involves a heavy side of PM work/people wrangling. I'm bored out of my gourd and the man I report to directly is basically s1 Michael Scott.
I am tired of wrangling. I want to make the sushi and be wrangled.
They hired a young guy about a year after me who was doing my same job as well. I thought he'd been brought on to replace me, and then got promoted past me to the role I was waiting for, of course. He's already chewed his leg off and run away due to the office politics and drama.
