I don’t know who needs to hear this but there’s a pretty wide gulf between being a Karen and being a doormat

You can ask for the service you’re paying for. You can ask for mistakes to be fixed. You can express dissatisfaction with a product or service. None of those things make you a problem customer or a Karen

What’s a problem is when people are assholes about it or demand entirely unreasonable things. Don’t do that. But do stand up for yourself.

@calcifer That's a really important point and one of the big obstacles people have to being assertive is they don't want to be seen as being mean. A lot of the Karens have swung way too far the other way.
