The Inland Mall in San Bernardino was our big one, so I spent the most time there. It says something about the local economy that this rather modest shopping center served an area (Riverside and San Bernardino counties) larger than the state of West Virginia. Folks just didn't have a lot of money.

@bosak Wow. Is it still there? The mall I mean. I am in a Monroeville and our mall is quite famous due to Dawn of the Dead. Parts of it are very much unchanged but the decor and detailing is very different.
