Just had to say a polite no, to a client who doesn't understand where to find the mx record settings for a domain that we don't manage that's with 123 reg.

The client wanted a screenshare to walk them through 123 regs domain panel.

All this while using the "Its for charity angle" for an after school club.

I don't do screenshares I work in a terminal. I'm also not particularly happy being asked to do this out of scope work essentially for free.
