@sullybiker That's interesting. My conservative estimate is Oracle had 50,000 employees unable to work on Friday (single Windows PC, many remote workers). I'm not sure how many of those are back online.

Ellison sure as hell won't let that pass. He may sanction all employees move to Macs (or Linux), sack the ORCL 'solution architects' who selected Crowdstrike as 'best of breed' - sorry this year's fashion with red lipstick which everyone else is using.

@andyc They have had issues on Linux before too. Not as big as this, but I had some drama.

@sullybiker Oh I know. It's notoriously shit on Linux, hardly ever seems to pull updates and a resource hog) just like Norton, McAffee and every predecessor).

I disable it until I get a quarterly nag email, enable it for two days. Disable. Rinse and repeat.
