Refunding Stalker 2 because, as yet, haven't managed to successfully launch it. Each time I click on it, it wants an hour to download a 120GB patch, then sets about compiling shaders until the heat death of the universe. Btw Pantheon is finally out on Netflix. I think it’s one of the best animated series / best sci-fi series (animated and not). It revolves around the concept of ‘UI’ (uploaded intelligence) which feels like a parallel to AI. The themes it takes on are super smart. Very compelling. We binged it when it first came out and it’s now more widely available.
I just want a Boolean search engine that returns zero results for my query, instead of going 'oh, I recognise one of those words, here's an avalanche of irrelevant shit for you to sift through.'
