A user brings me an external HD. "I need the data off this" She announces. I plug it into one of our bench machines. "This is encrypted." I say.

I swear we deal with this kind of shit every day.

@alienghic I think people forget we basically keep the IT lights on. We're not miracle workers, we just keep it all ticking over. Sometimes that involves clever stuff, mostly it's just practicing good habits.
