Crypto has taken advantage of people s greed and desire for a quick buck. I've seen threads of greedy boomers that have put their savings into it because some rando on the internet told them to. It's really quite sad.
It's unregulated and full of money, of course there's theft everywhere.

@sullybiker keep encountering otherwise rational, reasonable people at work, generally sensible decision makers, who've got sucked into it, too. (now all pretty remorseful.)
