My car is repairable. No frame damage. Huge hit in a small area which I thought would have buckled the unibody. The shockwave broke the interior trunk liner. It will however be a while due to large number of parts and the ongoing CDK outage. Had the wheel and transfer case been dinged it would have pushed it over the underwriter's number. As it happens it did not even lose alignment. So lucky.

@Mitsu Yes. Me and my oldest son. We got hit by someone who then fled on foot. Police all over the place in minutes. This was his car.

@sullybiker lucky the light seems to have survived, bumper maybe too

@piggo they're all being replaced. I think they shifted.

@piggo it's not the best picture of the numper but it is actually broken in two and there's a lip underneath it that is broken

@Pipski Yeah just a mega wait but beats having to get another car I really can't afford!

@sullybiker for sure. gonna be a PITA if you have to buy groceries on your bike through. got a loaner?

@Pipski we have Jen's still and I have a rental but it's only 80% comp'd but will see me through

@Pipski My bike is entirely insuited for carrying anything, including my fat arse
