This came up in my photo memories. I used to see this dog most mornings when I walked into work. He'd be out in the garden and always ran to the railings for pats. #dogstadon

Probably a bit longer in peak than Is ideal but that's a matter of conditioning.

OTD 14 years ago I arrived in Zakopane for Xmas, lots of snow and not too cold. It was my first introduction to snow tires which I have had to use since coming here.

The railway tracks I have to walk across from the car park at work. It's a quiet line, nevertheless the railway company would not let us out a footbridge here.

At the borough's Hannukah celebration with the kids. It's great but it's very cold.

Took my reissued Tamiya Hotshot out on the snow. Was fun. Needs a much better tyre for it, and it's too low, but those are old Hotshot problems.

USS Requin at her permanent mooring on the Ohio river. I used to tease my sons that they had to distract the guide while I figured out how to put my pack of AA batteries in it and drive it around. They weren't impressed.

Donnelly lies on the track in the aftermath of his accident. He is still belted into his seat, which has separated from the bulkhead. His steering wheel is behind.
