Granada on a wet and windy Wednesday morning. Initially I was annoyed that the person stepped into the frame, but I think it works better than the later frames with the dead space in the left. #photography #travel
The climate's challenges and answers in one picture. Beznar reservoir in Andalucia, just starting to recover from drought conditions, with the HEP dam in the background, and beyond that, some of Andalusia's many, many wind turbines. #photography
Lemons - one of the most prevalent sights in this part of Andalucia - on a tree with the Sierra Nevada in the background. The only sunny day of my visit, on the morning before I left. So it goes. #photography #travel
Mood lighting signals sunrise on a 787-10 on the way to Amsterdam. The windows remain tinted letting no light in from the outside. It's a pretty pleasant cabin if you are able to sleep on planes. #Photography #aviation
A Delta A330-900 waits for me at E pier on a gloomy AMS morning, for the 7hr 22min flight to JFK. The A330 and A350 have this black eyeliner around the flight deck windows; it's very distinctive. #photography #Aviation
From AMS-AGP last week, somewhere over Spain. Transavia (the Dutch word for 'late', apparently) 737-800. #Photography #Aviation
Interesting watching a windows client do a full update from a fresh install in a hypervisor. What's it doing? Why is it taking so fucking long? The answer is God knows, and not much, apparently. Lots of CPU thrash but little else. I assumed I/O was always a bottleneck but there's not much going on with the storage. #sysadmin
