The cathedral and dippy, on a blazing hot lunchtime. Awkward framing but I wanted to get it all in. The flagpole was too tall and I did not have my saw with me.

The route stopped three years later, then the airline disappeared too. Monarch at Granada. Much closer than Malaga (90 miles away) and very convenient, but nobody seemed to be able to make it work.

Andalucia (almost impossibly to me) 18yrs ago. These yellow flowers are all over the place this time of year.

German 'Biber' mini-submarine, Gosport, 2005. These weren't a huge success, and were often more dangerous to their crew than to allied shipping.

Givendale Church, in the Yorkshire Wolds. I lived a couple of miles from here as a teenager, and used to bike up here. It was a mean climb. Didn't appreciate it then. Took this on my HTC Desire in May 2011.

The GP-9 locomotive that is permanent resident at Horseshoe Curve PA, during restoration and a new coat of paint. The grey primer made me think think of a glitch in reality where it was untextured.
