@Flick @LifeTimeCooking It was probably my only positive memory of the place

@Flick @LifeTimeCooking You reminded me that many years ago I lived in Huddersfield for a while, and used to walk past the condiment factory on Wakeflield Road in the morning. The smell was amazing.

Streaming #music seemed like a good idea years ago before there where a dozen of services to choose from

Now I’m back to self-host my music also with #Koel! It also comes with a #Flutter app for #iOS & #Android

It uses #Laravel for the backend so super simple setup 👌🏻

The seafront at Swanage. It was cloudy and cold, and honeslty I would not have had it any other way, because that's how I remember the seaside back home.

Fleet St. & Farringdon St, on my way into Soho, around 6pm.

@LifeTimeCooking It seems odd to miss something so basic like chips but I can't get them like that here.

And while you don't *need* an OEM install from the factory, some of the newer ones have some very picky hardware. The XPS 13 9340 we tried only had camera support with some Dell PPA enabled and Ubuntu 22.04. Upgrading to 24.04 broke it again.

Their configurator didn't allow linux without some insanely expensive spec, so I will probably throw a distro on there as soon as I have time

Got a replacement Dell 16" precision for my old one which died just out of warranty. Dell somehow made it even bigger and heavier, which is impressive. It's like billet steel.
