I also got a $5000 bill from a lab because my oncologist had to send biopsy items to them to be identified; I had no say in the matter. The lab were really good about this though, and sorted it out for me.
Likewise when I was treated for what was a pretty high-risk cancer, I had to wait for approval several times for certain things. So some anonymous pen-pusher has more power than an MD. It's complete shite.
@cblgh "we have increasingly come to understand that GUIs hide the systems that drive that production, and by extension, the labor to maintain and sustain them."
https://www.theregister.com/2022/07/07/lennart_poettering_leaves_red_hat/ I am experiencing that emotion of wanting to laugh but its not actually funny at all.
I wonder why I run to OpenBSD sometimes, like a sinner that has strayed far from the Church. Then I read things like this, and remember why.

Please boost for reach. So, anyone that is working on FOSS projects like web apps, sites, Linux apps, desktop environments, or other user interfaces, please let me know if you want them tested for accessibility. I can do both CLI, web, and GUI testing, and app testing on Android. I'm running Debian (on a ChromeBook but that's not too important), so just give me the name of the package, or the URL of the site or app. I can also do Flatpak!
And you can have rules pinned to a service or executable, as well as a *nix like simple network rule. This allows flexibility, but also gets horribly complicated to understand just what the fuck is going on.
That said, there's something like six different entries for RDP connections, and you'll need to switch them *all* off to get your own rules in there. This is silly.
Some of it is part of the MS sausage machine, like all the WinRm shite and SMB (endless retching noises)
FOSS, motorbikes, and photography.
