I don't know what is different about this year but the number of 9/11 truthers coming out of the woodwork seems much higher this anniversary. I've had a bunch of YouTube alerts on old videos I'd commented on years back where they've flocked to the comments in the last day.

just for fun i can add a bit to the xscreensaver drama: one can easily run xscreensaver and swaylock in parallel. swaylock supports transparent (alpha) backgrounds. xscreensaver could also be activated by swayidle. thus, xscreensaver doesn't need idle nor locking functionality under wayland (wlroots at least).

They've finally back down with an announcement that Ofcom won't use powers in the spy clause contained in the Online Safety Bill until it's 'technically feasible' to do so.
