Dell having an easily downloadable .ova image of an OneFS Powerscale node is incredibly useful, you can muck about to your heart's content with OneFS's elaborate networking and not worry about the phone ringing

I don't love 'Ubuntu Based' that much but more choice for OOTB laptops is always good news.

Porsche 963 LMDH pulling out of the pits at Spa on its hybrid electric motor, switching to ICE on track. The hybrid system deploys around 290kph and must combine with ICE to reach the regulation power output. The rear axle is used for regeneration of the li-ion battery system.

I do like the OpenStreetMap house style, it reminds me of the Ordnance Survey maps back home. Great line detail and symbology.

One thing this did encourage me to do is find out exactly what $VENDOR can fetch off the server. Got an email late last night from a vendor saying a self-hosted service we use had signs of compromise. Hmm, I thought, as the icy fingers of panic started gripping me...it's on an RFC1918 network so if that's true we have bigger problems. So after kicking off a full IR procedure with absolutely no results, we get mailed 3 hours later saying they made a mistake. Fuckers.

At a few years back I met a woman that commuted every day for 120 miles as it was the closest she could afford to live near LA.
