Yow, I just got successfully phished on the Facebook Android app. I clicked on "Your friend X tagged in a post" and this thing managed to put a browser window over the top of the FB app so it looked like I was still in the app, totally consistent style, and asked for a Facebook login, which I haven't done for years so I thought made sense. I fell for it, and I bet most people wouldn't have noticed it was sketchy, which I fortunately did; password hastily changed….

"I'm glad I could get you all here today" + two hours of stuff relevant to nobody = average meeting.

My (then) 6yr old would borrow my laptop to "...play Supertux and Minecraft" and he goes into firefox, uses the webcam to take his picture and changes my username. I love it so much I just left it.

there's a lot of mirth about Sainz hitting the manhole cover, but when you consider that his backside is sitting on what is essentially the floor of the car (in some cases the seat is cutout at this point), and there's a high density battery pack on the same plane, that could have been an extremely serious accident.

Had a look at Debian 12. Doesn't give a lot away to the 'just works' distros now. Very up to date for a Debian desktop effort. You could be happy with this over Ubuntu or Mint. Gnome 3 isn't altered much, which is good because if Gnome works for you stock is usually best.

Today in 1974, 49 years ago: in Birmingham (England) two pubs explode; 21 people die. Six young men are falsely accused (Hugh Callaghan, Patrick Hill, Gerard Hunter, Richard McIlkenny, William Power and John Walker), which the media dubbed the Birmingham Six. After an infamous case of judicial assembly, on August 15, 1975 they were sentenced to life imprisonment. Until 16 years later (on March 14, 1991) the British justice will recognize their innocence and release them.

that was a very good GP. Would like to see it a touch warmer next time; half the field could not use the hard tyre.

I am occasionally visited by the thought that for , Drive to Survive is simultaneously the best and worst thing to happen to the sport.
