I would add to what @GossiTheDog said about some professional responses to what happened today. "De-enterprising" is not a useful or helpful sentiment. Many of us simply do not live in that world. There are many reasons from insurance to legal liability that obligate proprietary solutions. It's not ideal, but neither is the world generally. Windows is a professional reality, so is EPDR. They're not going anywhere, we just have to learn what we can.

The worst thing about today is having to spend so much time in Windows and if you know me at all you know how much I hate it. It's just not my strong suit, but there's too few of us for me to be picky.
