Over the past few years, many people have unfortunately become more dependent on streaming media. But it's important to remember how streaming services can deprive you of important rights. Dis-services like Disney+ and Netflix mandate the use of a hardware-level backdoor called Widevine, giving them permanent access into deep components of your machine. Try video sites like the Blender Open Movies project instead.

Only a modest amount of snow here in Monroeville. The boys were disappointed, I think they wanted a snow day. 🏔️ #wx
Jamie Chadwick heads to sports prototypes. ELMS is a great, great series and LMP2 is fantastic. I'm sure she'll have a great time. Le Mans is also on the program.

My Framework 13 suffered a broken display a couple of weeks back. I found it on the floor face down, with a large black band on the screen when powered on 😬 I think the dog knocked it off the table and then stepped on it. He's quite a chonker. I got a replacement screen and manage to not fuck up fitting it, so that's a result.
That is actually the first screen I've ever broken, on anything. Typical it would be my own gear that I have to pay to fix...
For an alpha (specifically Alpha 3) it is very decent. No instability so far, very responsive. Speed is subjective though, I suspect it's not doing many animations which really kill a DE. It's snappy. Hope it stays that way. The green glowing active window border is a bit ug, but I can live with it (and it can be changed.
Giving PopOS Cosmic alpha a spin. Really like it so far. #linux

These are called long and thin routes, and were usually the forte of the old 757. Routes that could still turn a profit on a smaller number of passengers. ETOPS meant a small twin could go much further than before.
