Got the bus home for the first time since I moved to the 'burbs. I'd forgotten the chill of a bus, being able to unwind and let someone else worry about the road. Nice chatting to people too.

Recovering on my couch having had the last of my problem lymph nodes resected. Pain is much less this time.

My surgeon resembles Ben Mendelsohn/Orson Krennic, which is amusing and not at all scary.

More surgery for me next week, the remainder of my lymph node is coming out, hopefully this will be it for a while, I am past tired of all this. I do recognise it beats being dead, though.

I smell tourists.

(Flashback moment: Tass Times in Tonetown, a text adventure. Once you got to the titular Tonetown you needed to wear a certain amount of bling, or an alligator-man would leap out and eat you after a few turns. It felt very weird to be the Tourist instead of the Local in that.)
