Pittsburgh from the North Shore 8 years back. The polarizer rendered the river a rather unsightly brown, but I otherwise I like this.

Brought his bed into the living room and he's finally trying it.

11 years ago today I had a very early start to fly out to the US for one of my final visits before moving for good. This was the illuminated canopy at T3 departures where I stopped for a smoke. Another thing I gave up not long after.

A similar-ish view from Google Earth today. The dock is now totally commercial (Cruise traffic goes into a nearby space). A lot of car and bulk carriers now. Mostly cars.

Southampton's Berth 44, from a departing RMS Titanic. This is from the Frances Brown collection (he departed the Titanic at her Ireland stop).

44 Berth is still there. I lived in an apartment on a plot of land visible in this picture. Some of the cranes are still there.

The old sunflower project at Roundhill from a while back. I didn't walk in for a better angle because of tick paranoia, but this was really nice while it lasted.

Another image from Andalucian Saharan weather. It's not a filter, it's just the sand.

My parents live in Spain and they're getting Saharan sandstorms right now. It looks surreal. Most houses will have to be repainted. The sand and rain gets into the whitewash texture and can't be cleaned out.

I messed around with stacked exposures and some HDR tools back in the day. I didn't always like the technique because it was absolutely everywhere when it came out, but I like the slightly weird colours it could produce. This was from 2011.

A fairly innocuous photo of mine and my friend's bikes, when I met at a local gas station for the first evening ride of Spring. Later that day the retina in my left eye would detach, causing a pretty serious loss of vision which dogs me to this day.
