@MmeLibertine I just started going to bed a bit earlier. Two years of pandemic sleep patterns hasn't helped. I used to catch up in the mornings.

@MmeLibertine I was aware of dreaming through the night a lot, which means it wasn't deep sleep. That explains a lot. My dog trying to push me out of bed doesn't help.

My great uncle was a rating on HMS Loyalty which fell victim to U-480 very late in the war, in the Channel. He survived, around half (including the Commander) did not. He wrote to the Archive people in Germany to learn about the submarine, but he died before the true fate of it was known, as it was mistekane for another until a mystery wreck was found in the late 90s...
