I also remember the bigger problem being no small amount of bullying by some admins who were trying to coerce other instances to adopt their pet blocks. And that was around the time Eugen fueled the notion that there was Mastodon in God's shine, and Pleroma which was basically Nazi Germany.

By develop I mean expand or augment the existing Mastodon code or make feature requests to have something similar.

@farhan This is good advice. I've got some good friends from some dubious instances that regularly feature on Fediblock. I'd miss out if I just blindly adhered to the recommendations.
