It's odd with all the newcomers not seeing the regular faces so much. You realize how small the circles here used to be.

@fipaddict@travelpandas.fr @yngmar I saw his interviews on Sam Holmes' channel. He's an incredible man. No sign of slowing down, either!

Butler's Wharf, a former warehouse converted to residential use, Bermondsey, London.

Nikkormat FTn, scanned 35mm film. September 2003.

Sorry to see Vettel leave after this year as he seems to have remembered his craft.

How long before Lance Stroll picks up a ban?

St. Mary's Annex, London. Also known as 'The Gherkin', or less politely, 'The Buttplug'. Polarizer removes the reflection of the windows, giving this weird Matte effect.

From the bridge of HMS Belfast. The Guns are aimed at Watford Gap Services, several miles away. I don't know what they did to upset HMS Belfast, but the cafe is a bit of a dump.

You all know where this is. It's also a nice memory as I lost my return ticket that day (I think I lifted it out of my inside pocket with my phone) and the lady at Waterloo gave me a free ticket on the basis that I did not mention losing anything but she thought my request to buy a single sounded a bit odd as the return wasn't much more expensive.

@fipaddict@travelpandas.fr @yngmar There's a French lad (Hugo) I think he's called that did it in an 18', he's. a professional though and makes it all look very easy. Very seaworthy but you're thrown around like a cork at that size.

@dick_turpin We had a polar vortex week of routinely -15-20 days. The walk to work was pretty unpleasant whenever the wind blew. It was like wearing no trousers.

@dick_turpin I've done -25 and that was surprisingly tolerable. Just don't breath through your mouth unless you like mild hypothermia, which is *terrifying* by the way.

@Hinterlands@mastodon.online That is a *great* photo.

Lots of textile shops, sportswear, fruit and veg. When I came here I had an idea about weekly shopping at the market but honestly it's very expensive.

Like the Docklands in London, the industrial zone of the Strip is dying, replaced by apartments and up-market restaurants. There's still a lot of the past there, though.

Slightly hot on the highlights but I like painted brick signage. This is from the Strip District. I think there are apartments here now.

@dick_turpin It'll get really cold here in December and January. Routinely below zero.

@alexwinter@mastodon.social That's very un-Hollywood Alex. Welcome!
