@feonixrift I met Dell's Project Sputnik lead at a con a while back. What he achieved was incredible. I had the XPS 13, it was my daily for about four years. It worked extremely well; the only thing was is that it was flimsy. That's a problem Apple is worth the premium for, in my experience.

I don't love 'Ubuntu Based' that much but more choice for OOTB laptops is always good news.
